Councilmember Lynette Gibson McElhaney invites all members of the Prescott Community of West Oakland to weigh in on the future of the concrete skate park that was constructed where the road meets the frontage road sound wall at the end of 9th Street between 9th and Pine Streets.
The group that constructed the skate park has asked that it be allowed to stay. Councilmember McElhaney and City Staff would like to hear from the residents in the neighborhood before a decision is made.
Come out and share your thoughts about whether the skatepark should be allowed to remain or be removed.
