Scream Sorbet was an Oakland-based company, producing seasonal sorbet flavors, sourced locally and made by Pacojet. From November 2010 until early March 2013, Scream operated a retail location at 5030 Telegraph Ave., but the store was ordered closed by the Alameda County Health Department due to Scream's failure to obtain the appropriate operating permits.1 Except for one appearance at Bittersweet Chocolate on July 4, 2013,2 the company has not operated since the store closed. Their website, Twitter feed and Facebook page still exist, although none have been updated for nearly a year.
