megabus.com provides service between Oakland (West Oakland BART Station) and Los Angeles (Union Station) or Burbank (MetroLink station) twice a day. Experiences vary, but if that's your route, it may be the best option for travel. Depending on how early you book your ticket, it may be very cheap.
