W. W. Wines

William Wallace Wines (Nov 20, 1816- Dec 21, 1889) settled in Ypsilanti in 1841, where he owned a lumber mill. He moved to Ann Arbor in 1848 and entered the dry goods business, first under the name of Becker and Wines and subsequently in partnership with Charles H. Worden.

Wines was a vice president and shareholder of the Ann Arbor Savings Bank.
