When: 4:00-5:30 pm 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month Where: Normal Public Library- Board Room (downstairs) What: Teen Advisory Council is a book club that is run by the teen librarian at the Normal Public Library, at the club our main point is to read books appropriate for teenage audiences and then discuss the books. We pick a genre and then each member brings in a book that fits into that genre and we vote to decide which book to read. Then there is normally a period of several weeks we are given to read the book and then we meet for a discussion afterwords. While we are reading a book the club does many activities including assisting the teen librarian pull books from the shelves, craft days, game days, pass around stories, and picking out books to be added to the library's teen collection.
