Goodfellows, owned by Steve Woodham, is a bar in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, near the campus of UNC-Chapel Hill. It offers 65 beer varieties and nightly drink specials. There is an Old School Game Night held Mondays where patrons can play old school board and video games. The bar hosts a DJ Friday nights, and other nights of the week feature trivia and karaoke.

The bar is located on Franklin Street, a popular downtown strip that holds restaurants, bars and boutiques. The area is a popular spot for college student gatherings and nightlife. Goodfellows attracts the weekend crowd with new featured and half-priced drinks Sundays.

Goodfellows runs a Pickleback Club. A pickleback is a shot of Jameson followed by a shot of pickle juice. Customers earn one point for each pickleback they drink, and 100 points merits a plaque on Goodfellows’ wall.

Goodfellows runs an Ask for Angela program. When people at risk of sexual assault ask the bartenders for Angela, Goodfellows employees will take them to the back of the bar and help them. Signs in the women’s bathroom alert people to the program.

The bar is open everyday from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. at 149 1/2 E. Franklin Street.
