Neighborhood Church is an Evangelical Church affiliated with the Christian & Missionary Alliance denomination based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Church was planted in 1964 when founding pastor Ken Backlund, his wife Wava and a handful of congregants from Oakland, CA immigrated to Chico. Originally the church met at E. Third Street and Pine Street, however after the church outgrew its facilities the community purchased 37 acres of land south of Chico where it is presently located. The facilities established there included a Fellowship Hall and a number of other buildings to accommodate the growing church as well as a school campus for preschool through eighth grade.

In the early 1980's pastor Backlund's vision for a large geodesic dome began to unfold and ground was broken with the iconic structure reaching completion and dedicated in 1987. The following year in 1988 Backlund retired from the ministry. Succeeding him was Rev. Dennis Gorton, whom acted as an interim pastor until a more permanent candidate filled the position. After a brief tenure with Neighborhood, Gorton was succeeded by Larry Lane, originally from Washington DC. Lane served as the senior pastor of Neighborhood until 2010-11 when former high school youth pastor and brief college pastor Andrew Burchett stepped into the role of lead pastor. Additions to the pastoral staff include Tom Mount, former Senior Pastor of Pleasant Valley Community Church for 10 years as associate and teaching pastor.

Neighborhood has one primary service at 10:30AM on Sundays. In addition to the main church service, a number of Sunday school classes are offered before and after for all ages, as well as bible study and small groups off of the normal church campus.

A number of facilities have been added to the church's complex over the years allowing for a school accommodating preschool through the eighth grade.

Over the years many events have been held on site, including concerts, outdoor festivals and other events enabling the church to engage with the larger community in Chico.
