Celia Avila is currently a 2nd year at UC Davis double majoring in Women&Gender Studies and Chicano/a Studies as well as double minoring in Sexuality Studies and Film Studies.
She is one of the co-chairs of Queer Student Union along with Miguel Espinoza.
Avila has been a part of the ASUCD Gender and Sexuality Commission ever since Spring 2010.
Avila is also part of La Familia and Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán.
She interned for current ASUCD Senator Alison Tanner in Spring 2010.
Avila has volunteered at the LGBTRC and the Student Recruitment and Retention Center.
