- Hotel Aggie existed where Shuz of Davis and Nestware were in the early 2000s. At one point, it operated as a real hotel in the historic Terminal Hotel building. Later it became one of those apartment/homes that transformed into a great club/party place by night. It was popular with KDVS folks back in the '80s and hosted such notables as Thin White Rope, Game Theory (article), and Camper van Beethoven. The bottom level of the Hotel Aggie was once home to Debo's Pizza, then a bar known as the Antique Bizzare, and then another restaurant, the original La Esperanza. A small staircase on the side of the building led up to a couple small apartments which were probably originally hotel rooms.
