2020-02-24 19:52:01   I called this office in the morning on 2/24/2020 to confirm my appointment which would be at 1 pm on 2/24/2020. The front desk attendant did not tell me anything about cancelling the appointment. She even advised me to bring all my divorce paperwork with me to my appointment. I went all the way to the Yolo Superior Court to obtain all necessary documents to bring with me to my appointment. Right after I arrived at their lobby at 12:45 pm on 2/24/20. Brian Pakpour's paralegal came out to tell me that my appointment was cancelled and I had to leave immediately. I asked why my appointment was cancelled, she refused to answer. She almost broke my hand. I called the police. What the hell is wrong with this woman? Maybe, as a white woman, she hates all Asians. There are many many Sacramento-based family law attorneys who would only charge for $250 per hour. This Brian passed the bar exam on 2/20/2013 and claimed he established his firm on 2/20/2013. How was that even impossible unless he lied? Here's how to file a complaint against his and his office if you ever have an issue: http://www.calbar.ca.gov/Public/Complaints-Claims/How-to-File-a-Complaint (Brian P. Pakpour California Bar #288960) They never gave me a reason why they trolled me. They never apologized for having trolled me. You can receive free legal services (not free legal representation) at the Family Law Facilitator and Self Help Center located on the second floor at the Superior Court of California, County of Yolo. The address is 1000 Main St., Woodland, CA 95695. There are THREE court attorneys and one paralegal to help people on a first come first serve basis. They are open from 8 am to 4 pm Mondays through Fridays, excluding holidays. They help with collaborative divorce and provide meditation. They also help apply for fee waivers such as using the Yolo County Sheriff's Department to serve your divorce papers on the other party or on the other party's attorney. Here's the link: https://www.yolo.courts.ca.gov/forms-filing Brian Pakpour charges $350 per hour for an initial consultation and roughly $5,000 for a simple divorce case, without no children or properties involved. If you have no children or no jointly-owned property with your spouse, and you are married less than 5 years, save yourself some trouble and file for summary dissolution with the court. The Superior Court of California, County of Yolo has court attorneys at the second floor that host divorce workshops and provide assistance with filling a variety of forms, from divorce to small claims, from domestic violence to child custody. There are other Davis-Sacramento area family law attorneys that would charge $150 per hour or less. There's a service called MyCalForms to help people fill out divorce forms and serve these forms for a small fee. They also host workshops at the Yolo Superior Court every Friday from 9 am to 12 pm. Empower Yolo (530) 661 - 6336 also has free Domestic Violence Restraining Order clinics. —mrsjudywilde
