This location features multiple systems installed by Affordable Energy Concepts. 'Celebration Hall' (the communtty center) receives about 16 kW of solar electric power from a roof-mounted system and has two evacuated tube solar thermal panels for hot water—together providing about 50% of the power: The off-the-grid 'Berrneci Lodge' has pole-mounted solar panels with a large battery bank producing about 16 kW of power. Evacuated tube solar thermal panels on the roof heat hot water for both domestic hot water and radiant slab floors and a generator and bio-gas incinerator heats hot water as a backup; The on-site two-bedroom homes have been built to passive solar home standards and feature roof mounted solar panels that produce 3-4 kW for each house. Nearly 100% of power is produced by the active and passive solar systems; 'Wall Residences Headquarters' is U.S. Green Building Council LEED Silver certified with a geo-thermal heating and cooling system and roof-mounted solar panels that prthride 15 kW of power.
