Entropy was a hardcore/punk band in Grand Rapids from about 1994-1998. The band was formed by students at Grand Rapids City High/Middle. Rehearsals were in East town, near Wilcox park. Three full length cassettes were produced featuring Minor Threat, Black Flag and Bad Brains covers, but consisting primarily of original songs.

Although I cannot specifically remember live performances, Misfits and Dead Kennedy's covers were rehearsed.

Bumper stickers reading "Entropy Sucks" were available at shows. Concerts were primarily DIY affairs: booked were ever possible. Some venues include: the Lexicon Club, Vinyl Solution, Bridge Street Comics, and many basements. Entropy played with: The Great Daryl Nathan, Wack Trucks, The Smiling Villians, Blackout, and many other local acts.

Entropy hosted and performed at Skull Fest '99 on the Monroe Mall Ampitheater (now Rosa Parks Circle).
