San Pedro federal prison was a federal prison located on Terminal Island in the San Pedro neighborhood of Los Angeles.⁽¹⁾

After the outbreak of the Pacific War on December 7, 1941, Takejiro Kusayanagi and other Japanese Americans in Los Angeles were arrested by the FBI and detained in this prison.⁽¹⁾
