Course Description  BP100 provides learners with an overview of beef production. The course is ideal for explorers who are considering a beef production enterprise.  Its language and terminology is appropriate for people who are considering or looking to enter beef cattle production.  BP100 is a self-paced program that learners can access from a web-linked computer or device.  It uses Virginia Tech’s Scholar Online Learning  System.  Learners are not required to enroll in Virginia Tech to enroll in BP100.

Learning Level  Beginning farmer, diversifying producer, explorer.   

Bring to Class  Learners must have access to the internet using a operating system compatible with Virginia Tech's Scholar Online Learning System

Date  Learners can begin BP100 at any time after contacting the Agriculture & Natural Resources Extension Agent at Virginia Cooperative Extension – Loudoun Office.  

Time  BP100 is accessable at all times, 24x7/365
