Ace Architects is an Oakland-based architecture firm. Vanity Fair described them as “the court jester of California architecture," and one only need look at the Leviathan Building where their headquarters are to see why.
The firm was started by Lucia Howard and David Weingarten in 1979.
They did design and restoration work for Children's Fairyland, and received a Partners in Preservation Award from the Oakland Heritage Alliance.
