Bay Wolf was a French American restaurant in the Piedmont Avenue neighborhood of North Oakland. Owner Michael Wild was born in Paris. Bay Wolf was thought of as one of the jewels of Oakland and was one of its oldest and best fine dining restaurants. Bay Wolf closed at the end of August 2015 after 40 years in business.
