JAMMI (Just Above the MacArthur Maze Interchange) is a failed neighborhood name, which overlaps with the boundaries of the Longfellow neighborhood. More than an acronym, JAMMI is a double entendre making reference to the famous Lusk Cannery, which was located in what is now 40th St. and in 1874 was canning about 7000 cans of preserved fruit per day (very jammy indeed).1

In reality, nobody calls it JAMMI. It's Longfellow, after the old Longfellow school.
