Revolution Cafe served coffee, beer, wine, and some food. It was located on 7th Street near the West Oakland BART station. The owner is Arnie Fields, who shares an interest in Oakland history, according to Oakland Local.
It closed in early 2014 with little warning, after suffering a series of armed robberies. Its signs still hang in the empty storefront, inspiring hopes that it will return.
