Oakland Tribune 1911 1

The Telegraph Avenue Savings Bank was a small bank, opened in 1909, at the northeast corner of 49th St. and Telegraph. In 1913, it was taken over by Central National Bank. 3

The founders included W. B. Thomas, president, and Albert Vander Naillen, Jr., cashier. Ground was broken for the building in 1908. 2
