The South Hills Open Space is a great spot to hike within the SLO city limits. Take your dog, but keep it on the leash, and be sure to bring a poo bag. The South Hills Open Space includes Cheapskate Hill, which served as free seating for the Exposition Park Raceway.

Woodbridge Trailhead: Take South Street east and turn right onto Exposition Drive. Go straight and the road turns into Woodbridge Street. The trailhead is on the right.
