This would seem to be the person who has been identified as being from the Whitestone/Magnetawan, but again there does not appear to be a connection to this area
John Charles McCorkindale was commissioned in the Royal Army on November 29, 1915, having served in the 3rd Battery, Machine Gun Brigade.
There is no record of John’s service experience in the Royal Artillery.
John married Florence Mae Chandler. They had one child, Catherine Mae MaCorkindale born in 1923. John died in 1988 and is buried in Toronto.
