PHILLIPS, SGT. GEORGE

There was a George Edward Phillips was born about 1920 in Powassan to Sheridon Ambrose Phillips and Flossie Stockill. In 1921 the family lived in South Himsworth. He had a sister Georgina.

However, the more likely candidate is George Phillips born about 1919 in Parry Sound to Robert Phillips and Jane Louisa Jennie Hall. In 1921 the family livd in Ryerson Twp. George married Rhoda Nelson. He died April 7, 1999 and is buried in Spence.

In 1940 he lived in Burks Falls.

George and Rhoda had 2 children one of whom was Wayne George Phillips 1948-2005
