Wrightsville Beach is a town located just East of Wilmington with a population of over 2,500 people. Its clear water and abundance of local businesses attract thousands of tourists during the Summer holidays. At Wrightsville Beach people have many opportunities to stay busy but as a smaller, more discrete vacation destination, it is generally less crowded. It offers a range of activities for both residents and visitors to enjoy.

However, many casual but quality food services are available to enjoy as well. Steps away from the shore is Robert's Grocery and Marker, who has been open since 1919 and sells their famous chicken salad . Just doors down is Tower 7, a Tex-Mex style restaurant that is family friendly and a reputable franchise throughout the city of Wilmington. There are many locations that can satisfy hunger at Wrightsville beach and is a major contributor to the cars passing over the bridge.

In the case that one is looking for a spacious place to stay with many people, Wrightsville Beach has hundreds of houses that can be rented. These tend to be pricey around the warmer seasons, easily costing thousands of dollars for just a week, but can be easy to book through websites. Airbnb has also made it easier on those on a budget, providing more affordable rental listings by locals.
