Lake Erie Metropark is a 1,607-acre Metropark located east of West Jefferson Avenue in Brownstown Township with portions extending into the city of Gibraltar. It is also just a couple minutes outside of Rockwood via Huron River Drive. It features areas for bird-watching, 18-hole golf course, the "Great Wave" swimming pool, Marshlands Museum and Nature Center, boat launches and a marina.
