Highway 49 is a state highway that runs between Highway 70 in Vinton (in Plumas County) and Highway 41 in Ahwahnee (in Madera County). In the Yuba-Sutter area, it passes through Camptonville. It is often used for traveling to Grass Valley and Placerville. Significant places on Highway 49 includes Lost Nugget Market.
