There is a group of folks who are trying to create a feminist community space in East Oakland called the Tsega Center. According to their site, they are currently (late 2013) meeting weekly, doing events, and looking for a space.
They run regular open, community meals with a project called #opmobilecafe, but I'm not sure whether it's at a regular place/time and if so, what the regular time/place is or how one would find out when and where the meals are being served.
